The Houston Texans 2014 preseason schedule features home games against the NFC runner-up San Francisco 49ers  and Atlanta Falcons, and road tilts against the Super Bowl XLVIII runner-up Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals. The exact dates and times for the games will be released at a later date.

Head Coach Bill O’Brien will lead the Texans onto the field for the first time when Houston opens the preseason at Arizona. The Texans then play host to Atlanta in Preseason Week 2 before traveling to Denver in Preseason Week 3. Houston’s preseason concludes at home against San Francisco.

Houston will open the preseason at Arizona for the second time in franchise history. The Texans met the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium to start the 2010 preseason and posted a 33-20 win in their only other preseason visit to Glendale, on August 18, 2007.
