It’s been a long time. A long, long time. 357 days to be exact. We’ve seen 14 losing games before the Texans finally pulled out a win. It took a change in command, a change at quarterback, and well, a whole lot of changes.

I couldn’t be happier right now after the Texans open the season with a 5th consecutive opening day win. Ok, that’s not entirely true, but we’ll get to all that. For now, a “W” is a “W” no matter how we get it. Fifteen other teams out there, and their fans, have to wait at least one more week for that first win of the 2014 season. But not us. No sir, we got ours.

But there he was Sunday, leading the team with 6 receptions for 93 yards and a 15.5 yards per catch average. I was plenty happy to see #80 back on the field doing what he does best. Andre also passed Art Monk to move into 16th place for career yards.
