Andre Johnson spoke to the media Sunday after practice. The WR did not practice as he recovers from a minor hamstring injury.
“I’m feeling fine,” the veteran told HoustonTexans.com. “It’s a day-by-day process.”
Johnson said he hopes to be available when the Texans open the preseason against Arizona on Saturday.
“I need to do what’s best for the team,” he said. “If it’s me being out there then I’ll be out there, and if it’s not then I won’t.”
Andre Johnson and JJ Watt are always 2 of the last to leave the field. Stayed long after practice today for autographs and pics. 100% class

“You get tired going against your teammates all the time, so it would be good to go against somebody different. Even if it is a preseason game, just being in that game atmosphere changes things a little bit. You get to find out where you are at as a player and that is why guys use it for.”
