Andre Johnson said Friday that he has always been well taken care of by the Texans.
“I have the upmost respect for Mr. (Bob) McNair,” Johnson said to the media. “I always tell people, he changed my family’s life. Just giving me the opportunity to play the game that I love and having me here for my 12th season. I will forever be indebted to him. I’m happy for J. J. I think he deserves every penny of it. I’ve told him that before. Him and I have had conversations, just me and him talking about different things. He deserves everything. I was happy for him. As soon as I came in that day, I heard about it and I found him and congratulated him.”
